Personally I've had some success with supplementation of Echinacea (and/or Goldenseal, which is good for bad coughs) my favorite method of taking Echinacea is Organic Echinacea Plus tea by Traditional Medicinals. I also take Cod liver oil and vitamin D to help with inflammation.
